![]() You're looking at keeping ITZ up as much as possible, to help proc Whirlwind and Critical Rating (from Templar Belt), using Charge & Leap for Storm of Swords proc. It's almost a different playing style, and I couldn't get it working properly either. With 2 Fury 4 Warlord, you need to switch to a Parry Build to make full use of it, use In The Zone & Lightning Reflexes to boost Parry, and Templar Belt can reduce your need of having Critical Rating on your items. There are successful dual-weapon builds as well, but this feels like "easy mode" to me.As Tin Man mentionesd, I believe it's a 2 Fury 4 Warlord build - 4 Fury 2 Warlord isn't as good as 6 Fury, last time I checked for myself anyway, double cast of Charge & Leap seems much better than level 7 Battle Rage proc. The recent "balance changes" merely changed the imbalances, making Defender-6 rather overpowered. The combo can unleash three simultaneous Deadly Throws, which can finish the fight right then and there. ![]() At higher levels, you'll want to start adding more Ability Rate to fire the big bombs more often.īosses go down pretty fast too. ![]() You might need a second Deadly Throw to finish off the elites that Shield Slam didn't kill, or just wail on whatever remains. ![]() Shield Block, Battle Rage, and Deadly Throw). Just run around gathering lots of mobs to chase you, Vortex them into a tight circle, and then unleash the combo (e.g. Deadly Throw got a huge boost, and the passive Shield Slam just blows away huge mobs. Once i used the Ephemerals to complete the Defender set, my total damage for a trial nearly doubled. I chose Warrior for the ANB Silver run, and almost all of the top 10 are using 6-piece Defender with weapon and shield (usually the Blackguard set).
